Meeting God through Poetry

When Mary Lean undertook the Spiritual Exercises 20 years ago, she found herself writing poems as a way of entering into conversation with God, and of capturing what she found in prayer. She will share her story and offer starting-points for writing a poem. The day will include space to reflect on some poems, create your own, or simply, walk, pray and be.
Mary is a writer, editor and spiritual director, living in Oxford.
Arrive at 10 for a 10.30 start. The day finishes at 4pm. Please bring a packed lunch.
