SUMMARY:Am I too nice?
DESCRIPTION:Am I selfish in being true to myself? \n \nWe will reflect on our ways of helping others. We will consider possible patterns of Co-dependency. There will be short inputs\, times of listening to each other and of personal reflection. \nA workshop day with Anna-Stina Ponsford and sister Marie-Christine\n\nAnna-Stina is a co-dependent who has worked actively to recover from this disease for the last 25years. After years of being in a harmful relationship she broke free and learnt that loving herself and caring for her own needs has led to growing peace and happiness for herself and in her relationships with her family and friends.   \nIn recent years she has discovered the resources needed to develop her creative side\, she weaves\, plays a number of instruments and has an unruly allotment\,  She trained as a Spiritual Director at Lombard Street. \nMarie-Christine is a sister of St Andrew. In meeting people for spiritual accompaniment\, she become aware of difficulties experienced by people in ministry or care. She found that co-dependency gives helpful tools to understand patterns of thinking and behaving and may help initiate changes for the better. She acknowledges co-dependent’s traits in herself. \n\nArrivals from 10am for a 10.30 start finishing at 4pm \nPlease bring a packed lunch \nSuggested donation: £ 20 – £ 30 \nContact and booking

SUMMARY:Retiring\, a significant step in life.
DESCRIPTION:Preparing and living the transition. \nA workshop day with input\, sharing and personal times. \nwith sister Marie-Christine \nRetiring is often linked to more than leaving our work and the role we had. It can mean a move\, a change of income\, a need to care to someone\, health issues… Retirement can be progressive or in one step. We may look forward to it with relief\, with dread and anxiety. or both.  How are we going to fill the newly available time? How to live the new situation in our home\, church? Is there a new calling for us? \nDuring the day\, we will allow time to give thanks to the past and consider new opportunities in life and faith. \n 10 arrivals\, 10.30 start\, 4.00pm end. \nPlease bring a packed lunch. \nSuggested donation: £ 15 – £ 30 \nContact and Booking
